I WENT to the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton to see Shrek expecting to enjoy a family-friendly show.
Instead I was treated to what I can only describe as a filthy show.
The character playing Lord Farquaad even said one of his own so-called jokes was too smutty.
At one point he was centre-stage, leaning back with his legs apart making repeated sexual innuendos.
Donkey was no better and the person I was with said he looked like a demon.
The producers would have been well aware the audience was filled with parents and young children. It was nothing short of disgraceful.
Needless to say, I walked out.
