A MAN was caught four times the drink drive limit as he waited at Red Funnel ferry terminal.
Johan Michael van Huyssteen was found guilty of the offence at a hearing in Southampton Magistrates' Court, which heard the 54-year-old was found to have 140 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Huyssteen, of Harold Hill, Romford, was made the subject of a community order, which includes the requirement to complete 300 hours unpaid work within the next year.
He was also banned from the roads for three years and told to pay court costs of £675 and £85 victim surcharge.
