WINCHESTER Spirits cheerleading team have been jumping for joy at Oxygen Freejumping to promote Naomi House & Jacksplace Southampton Santa Fun Run.

Naomi House & Jacksplace teamed up with Oxygen Freejumping in Southampton on Tuesday evening for a festive trampolining session.

Fifty volunteers, including the University of Winchester cheerleaders, Winchester Spirits, swapped their pom poms for a Santa suit, hat and beard, to take part in a session, organised to promote the charity’s Southampton Santa Fun Run.

The 3k run returns to Southampton Common for the third year on Sunday, November 25 from 9am.

Charlotte Patrick, events fundraiser at Naomi House in Sutton Scotney, said: “We always look for a fun way to promote our Santa Fun Run and this year is no exception.

"The 50 bouncing Santa Clauses were a spectacle to watch and certainly made everyone get into the festive spirit early this November.

"We hope they manage to catch everyone’s attention in a fun and festive way, encouraging people to sign up for our holly jolly fun run.”

Paul Graham-Fielding, marketing director at Oxygen Freejumping, said: “We are delighted to work with Naomi House & Jacksplace; the charity is not only close to our hearts, but also to many of the patrons of our park.

"We were very pleased to support their efforts and provide them a platform from which to promote their event.

“As well as working with the charity on the bouncing Santa Clauses event, we will continue to support their cause with an ongoing promotion of their events through the park.

"We hope that we see our customers take on the fun run and help to raise money for this wonderful local charity.”
