OKAY get rid of Les Reed but in all honesty, Ralph Krueger and Mark Hughes should have gone as well.

Out of the three, Hughes’s record since he took over is diabolical and clearly shows how out of depth his tactics are.

The whole squad look unfit and the majority look devoid of any desire to win.

I’ve followed Saints since I was old enough to go to the old Dell at 10 years old, and in the 57 years following, the football on show at present is simply not good enough. I firmly believe that the squad we have with a better manager would easily be in the mid table at least. Sorry to say that I still cannot believe we got in Danny Ings in instead of better strikers out there that would have been in our budget. Our present strike force mainly consists of strikers that can’t hit a cow’s backside with a banjo.

If we are destined to go down, chuck in youngsters from the under-23s and academy squad that would play with passion. Bring back Reed, Sims and Gallagher. Play Obafemi from the start.

I still maintain that Tadic went unnecessarily. Yes he was sulky but playing under a different manager he would most probably have shown more consistency.

Why on earth Hughes persists with Redmond really puzzles me. Totally overrated and would have more success in lower divisions.

Will the truth come out regarding Armstrong not getting regular playing time? Is there a fallout with him and Hughes – who knows? The longer Hughes stays, the chance of relegation will get stronger.

It hurts me but at the moment Bournemouth are the best team on the south coast. Soon Portsmouth will back in the Championship and at the moment we could be playing a local derby with them.

Where on earth is the Chinese owner? Surely he can’t be happy with the current situation. To be honest, I backed Hughes to keep us up but was totally gobsmacked when he was given a three-year contract. When he was appointed the remaining fixtures and three teams that were worse than us could have been managed by my granny, God bless her.
