Winchester Fireworks and bonfire night 2018 -.
SATURDAY’S Echo had a page listing the best of the forthcoming fireworks events. About 40% of them were on that Saturday evening. Another fifth were due on the following day, a once-sacrosanct Sunday. Further shows were planned right up to the 17th.
Out in the sticks they like to be a bit different, so here’s to the admirable folk of Broughton who, uniquely, held their display on the 5th of November. Er, Bonfire Night!
