JEWELLERY worth more than £60,000 was stolen in a series of house raids in Hampshire.

Police say cash was also taken in the three burglaries, which took place across Hedge End, Horton Heath and Fair Oak.

The first took place in Grange Road, Hedge End, on Friday, October 12, between 10.30am and 10.40m, while another attempted burglary took place at the same address between 11.55am and 12.05pm on Monday 29 October.

Another took place on Botley Road, Horton Heath, between midnight on Saturday, October 6 and 8am on Saturday, October 20.

The latest raid took place on Botley Road, Fair Oak between 11.09am and 11.25am on Monday, October 29.

Officers say in each of the raids, the bottom panels of the property doors were smashed.

Police have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with these incidents, as well as a motorcycle he may have been using.

 

The man is described as follows, 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall, wearing black, loose fitting trousers, a black sweatshirt without a hood, black gloves and black trainers with white soles.

He was using a white and black patterned helmet with a purple visor, carrying a black and red bag.
