THE winner of this year’s Hat Fair photography competition has been announced.

Corinne Kozok will now have her image of strongman Mighty Mike’s performance on permanent display at Winchester Railway Station.

Organised by the Winchester Photographic Society, Hat Fair director Andrew Loretto selected the winning photo from an array of entries.

Mr Loretto said: “We’re proud to support local talent through the annual Hat Fair photography competition.

Thanks to South Western Railway we are now able to display several years’ worth of winning shots in the Winchester train station waiting room.

“Corinne Kozok’s colourful and energetic picture of Mighty Mike captures the festival crowds perfectly.”

Corinne’s winning entry is now on display in the platform two waiting room at the station, accompanying three winning photographs from previous years to create a mini exhibition.

Along with seeing her work on display, Corinne has also received two first class train tickets to a destination of her choice, courtesy of South Western Railway.

Hat Fair is the UK’s longest running outdoor arts festival.

The event sees several days of street theatre throughout Winchester city centre, including at The Broadway and Cathedral Close.

It will return for a 45th year from Friday July 6.
