AN UNINSURED BMW driver tried to give police the slip by parking in a Southampton supermarket car park.
However officers tracked the car to Aldi in Portswood, where they seized the vehicle.
Police later found the BMW was uninsured and the driver was found to have no licence.
Officers later released an account of the incident on the Hants Roads Policing Twitter account on Monday.
They said: "The driver of this uninsured BMW thought he could give me the slip by ducking into the local supermarket car park.
