CAN you give either of these pets a forever home?

These animals are currently residents at the Blue Cross rehoming shelter near West End.

Almaz is an active Saluki who has been looking to be rehomed for a while.

The three-year-old loves to run and have time off the lead to run in safe areas like gardens or fields.

Other dogs can make her a bit worried, so it’s best she is walked in quiet areas where she won’t be overwhelmed. Almaz loves being around people, and is looking for someone who is around to keep her company – she also needs to be the only pet in the home.

Her ideal home is adults only.

Fifi is an eight-year-old male cat looking for a loving home.

He started off a bit nervous when he first came to the Blue Cross but now he loves a bit of attention and a groom with his special brush.

When he is settled, Fifi loves to get access to the great outdoors so he can explore and sunbathe.

If you’re an owner that goes out to work each day, Fifi will be happy with it as long as he can get in and out of the house when he wants.
