ECHO columnist Katy Pearson’s lifestyle and mummy-life blog has been named as one of 2018’s best parenting blogs.

The mum-of-one started her blog, What Katy Did UK, while on maternity leave with her little boy, Sonny Jim – now two years old.

She writes about her life as a mum, has raised awareness about the challenges of IVF, and also publishes reviews on products and places.

Teams at BrandBallot research and curate the web’s best brands and bloggers, and have listed Katy at number six on their top 200 parenting blogs of 2018 round-up.

Katy, 34, of Leigh, said: “It was such a lovely surprised to be contacted by BrandBallot and told they had picked my blog as one of their favourite parenting blogs this year.

“Sharing my experiences of motherhood has made me realise we’re all as clueless as each other when it comes to parenting, and it’s great to realise that my musings, mess ups and little rants have been not only read, but enjoyed by people.”

Katy’s column appears in the Echo every Friday – and her blog can be found at whatkatydidUK.com
