THOUSANDS turned out to the 20th anniversary of a popular pumpkin festival.
The Autumn Pumpkin Festival returned today, with people from across the area flocking to the event, at Royal Victoria Country Park.
As well as stalls and live music, the event, in aid of the Jubilee Sailing Trust, had a giant pumpkin parade.
This included a world record pumpkin attempt by twin brothers, Stuart and Ian Paton, from Lymington.
The pair, 57, are the current UK record holders, with a pumpkin they grew last year weighing more than a tonne at 162 stone (2,269 lbs).

This year the pair, from Lymington, were hoping to not only beat the world record of 2624lbs but also become Grower of the Year by having the heaviest combined total of three pumpkins on the planet at the same time.
The pumpkin was due to be weighed this evening.
