A CYCLIST has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a lorry in Southampton city centre.
The incident, which involved a white lorry, happened at 7.36am on Havelock Road, near the junction with West Park Road.
A South Central Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "The woman cyclist was not trapped under the lorry but was taken to hospital with a suspected fracture to her leg."
Pictures from the scene show ambulance and police workers at the scene outside SeaCity Museum.
The road was blocked but has since reopened.
