I have just read the letter about Brockenhurst not honouring the silent silhouette of our fallen heros.
I come from a garrison town and feel Privileged that we have these silhouettes around.
Yes I wear my poppy with pride every year, but it is also lovely to be able to tell our children and grandchildren about the brave men and women who gave their lives so we could lead ours.
The people responsible for making this decisions are to be laughed and named and shamed.
On Rememberance Sunday no doubt they will be strutting round like they own the day.
Shame on you , it is 100 years we celebrate, guns were in all wars and every person knows, so dont be silly be respectful.
