POLICE have discovered a small cannabis farm in a Hampshire field.
Officers seized eight plants from the area of land, off Botley Road, Park Gate.
Police are probing how the plants were placed there.
They are asking residents in the area to report anyone who may have been acting suspiciously.
A police spokesperson said: "We’ve seized 8 cannabis plants which were found in a field opposite on Botley Road Park Gate today.
"Do you know how they got there?
"Have you seen someone acting suspiciously in the area or have info that could help our enquiries?" Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference 44180344811.
