A WESTQUAY doughnut store has closed in readiness for a sweet new look.

Krispy Kreme, located on the ground floor of Westquey, closed on August 28 temporarily to allow time for refurbishment.

The store will be reopened at 10am on Wednesday, September 12 with an open day packed full of activities to celebrate.

Prizes will be up for grabs throughout the day, along with a ‘selfie station’ complete with sweet props for pictures.

There will also be the chance to win exclusive prizes for those first, second and third in the queue to the new store, with prizes being dished out to the lucky dozen first in line.

On offer at store will be 16 varieties of treats from the classic Original Glazed to the limited edition caramel range.

Plus, the newest treat to the line-up- Doughnut Bites.
