The members of Southampton Solent Lions Club and Swanwick Lions Club would like to thank most sincerely all of the public who turned up in large numbers to watch our Duck Race from Mansbridge to Woodmill on Monday August 27.
A total of 1996 tickets were sold raising nearly £2000 which will be used to support the Lions Community Projects and other charitable causes.
Our thanks also go to the members of St Denys Boat Club who gave up their time to shepherd the ducks down the river.
All of the winners have been notified and the prizes distributed.
