THE following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates’ Court.

Daniel Nicholas Barnes, 28, of Cuckmere Lane, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing various items from Co-op worth a total of £511. Jailed for 16 weeks and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Conor Ryan Bray, 23, of no fixed abode. Admitted breaching supervision requirements following release from prison. Jailed for 11 days.

Thomas Paul Clarke, 19, of Copeland Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drug driving and driving without insurance, MOT and a licence. Banned for 12 months, given community order, fined £50 and ordered to pay £40 costs and a £85 victim surcharge.

Lewis Patrick Daniel Kain, 22, of Sholing Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drug driving and driving without insurance. Banned for 12 months, fined £415 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £41 victim surcharge.

Dominic Aureliusz Patynski, 18, of Jessamine Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drug driving. Banned for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Tomasz Mateusz Skit, 37, of Green Park Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving, and driving while disqualified and without insurance. Sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months, 150 hours unpaid work, 20 day rehabilitation requirement, banned for 40 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and £115 victim surcharge.

Thomas Michael Snell, 30, of Irving Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing £670 in cash from Shoe Zone. Given community order and ordered to pay £370 in compensation, £85 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

Andrew Berry, 50, of Ashford Road, Fordingbridge. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Given one year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Joshua Lewis Ventura Blyth, 23, of Itchen Avenue, Bishopstoke. Pleaded guilty to stealing £31.44 worth of meat from Sainsbury’s. Given 18 month condition discharge, and ordered to pay £31.44 in compensation, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Barry Donald Kay, 50, of Bitterne Road East. Pleaded guilty to stealing a £100 saw from B&Q. Given a community order and ordered to pay £100 in compensation, £15 costs and a £85 victim surcharge.

Lee John Hussey, 37, of Windmill Close, Milford-on-Sea. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Given three penalty points, fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Adam Shire, 22, of Romsey Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Given three penalty points, fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Justin David Fixter, 41, of Alma Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to damaging a shop window and stealing bottle of spirits valued at £181,50 from Waitrose. Community order made, including rehabilitation activity requirement. Fined £120. Compensation £282,50 . Victim surcharge £85. Costs £85.

Marc Andrew Palmer, 37, of Polygon Guest House, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting and stealing Lacoste perfume sets from ASDA. Fined £160. Victim surcharge £30. Costs £50.

Cameron Jason Chivers, 21, of Spalding Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the supervisors requirements following release from a period of imprisonment. He also pleaded guilty to stealing petrol valued at £66.51 from Esso and a meal valued at £123,31 from Whiteley Shopping Centre. Committed to prison for seven days. Costs £85. Compensation £189,82.

Sheena Marie Grant, 55, of Borrowdale Road, Millbrook. Pleaded guilty to making false representation or statement and failing to notify Southampton City Council of a change in circumstances that would affect her entitlement to Housing Benefit. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months. Victim surcharge £115. Costs £120.

Samantha Patricia Banks, 36, of Wharncliffe Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing perfume valued at £160 from Debenhams, meat and diary valued at £161 from Coop. Committed to prison for eight weeks concurrent suspended for 12 months. Rehabilitation activity requirement. Compensation of £73. Victim surcharge £115.

Marcin Laniewski, 42, of Derby Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching a community order. Fined £40. Costs of £60.
