A sea of red and white is a permanent fixture among the stands and terraces each time Saints play – something that’s been the case since the club formed in 1885
Come rain or shine, the fans join in unison to sing When the Saints Go Marching In and to perform various topical chants.
Some show their unrelenting love for their beloved team with whoops, gasps and cheers, while others sit in silence, soaking up the emotion on show around them.
This selection of pictures shows fans through the years.
