FIREFIGHTERS were called to a blaze at a disused timber yard in Latchford on Friday night.
They went to Station Road at 8.30pm after reports a shipping container was on fire.
They spent one hour and 20 minutes tackling the flames.
Meanwhile an investigation is under way after a fire in a bedroom on Archers Green Road at 5.45pm.
They spent three hours at the home in Westbrook following a fire in the first floor room.
A large fan was also needed to clear smoke from the property.
