A MAN has been cut from his car after a collision with a tree.
Emergency services rushed to Newtown Road in Southampton at around 5.30pm today after reports of a crash.
A black car hit a tree and went down an embankment.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson confirmed that the male driver was the only person in the car.
Police officers and paramedics were also called to the scene.
The condition of the driver is unknown at this time.
Firefighters from Eastleigh, Hightown and St Mary's fire station also attended.
