DRAG queens were belting out the hits for a fundraiser party.

The event at Guildhall Square's Seaside in the Square saw dozens turn up to show support for Southampton Pride - set to take place in just four weeks.

Hosted by West Marlands venue the Stage Door, there were sing-a-longs, raffles and dancers, as well as Pride merchandise for sale.

This year organisers are expecting around 15,000 people to attend - but say they still need help from volunteers and businesses to be able to put on the free event. The family-friendly one day festival will have a bigger children's area this year, and as well as acts on the main stage all day there will be a market hall inside the o2 Guildhall stalls outside, a dedicated dog area, agility, grooming, competitions and more!

The parade is at 2pm starting at Guildhall Square and going to the Bargate.

The children’s area will have rides and attractions as well as a mobile farm and crafts.
