IT was a tank-tastic arrival for one Mountbatten School student, who rolled into his prom in an armoured war machine.

The student arrived at the school prom, held at Botleigh Grange Hotel last night, on the six-wheeled armoured car.

Not to be outdone, however, other students also arrived in style.

An array of sports cars, including a sleek yellow Ferrari, were also on show.
