ONCE again our rail journey was ruined by young drunks, most of whom do not pay any fares. The language was terrible. We felt unsafe and threatened.

The drunks were between 14 and 18-years-old and talked of taking drugs in the toilets and sat with bottle of gin on the table.

Why should we pay good money to the rail operators if they cannot, or will not, supply security?

The CEOs of the rail companies should be made to travel on their trains.
