MEMBERS of the New Forest National Park Authority are being urged to reject plans to enlarge a farmhouse.
The authority has received an application to build a two-storey extension to a property known as Old Farm in Cowpitts Lane, Ringwood.
The proposal has sparked two letters of objection.
Critics claim the proposed development would be out of keeping with the farmhouse and would also spoil views of a neighbouring property known as The Old Coach House.
Members of the NPA’s planning committee are being urged to refuse the application at their meeting next Tuesday.
A report produced by planning officers say it is important to resist the cumulative impact of “significant” enlargements to homes in rural areas.
