THE largest 10k in Hampshire is set to return, after being postponed due to snow in March.

The Eastleigh 10k will return on Sunday, June 17 with more than 2,900 people expected to take part.

As previously reported, the race was due to take place on March 18 but was snowed off.

Now it is set to return and organisers say it will be the biggest ever.

Race Organiser Steve Collins said: “It’s fantastic that we have re-arranged the Hendy Eastleigh 10k as it provides such a great day.”

This year’s race will start at 9am and will support the Mayor of Eastleigh’s Charity Appeal and Wessex Heartbeat.
