HUNDREDS of people lined the streets of Wickham to take in the village's annual horse fair.
The show was expected to bring in more than 1,000 Gypsies and travellers from across the country and features a horse run, fairground rides, and market stalls.
Trouble has flared in the past and in 2013, two families were involved in a mass brawl which left six people with broken bones.
The event has largely been peaceful in recent years, with only one assault recorded in 2017.
A number of roads have been closed while the event is in action.
