SAINTS have been knocked out of the FA Cup after a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea at Wembley.
The Blues took an early second half lead through Olivier Giroud, after a valiant defensive performance by Saints in the opening 45 minutes.
Southampton were denied an equaliser midway through the second-half, when Charlie Austin was judged to have fouled Chelsea goalkeeper Willy Caballero - who appeared to fumble the ball over his own goal line.
Substitute Alvaro Morata finished the game with a late header, to end Saints' fans hopes of a cup final against Manchester United next month.
