A SOUTHAMPTON shop has become the latest victim of a ram raid, leaving shattered glass all over the store.

One Stop in Millbrook was targeted in the early hours of this morning after a car was driven into the front of the store.

Police say that no entry was gained and that nothing had been stolen.

A statement from Hampshire Constabulary said: "Officers are currently investigating a ram-raid at One-Stop on Cumbrian Way in Millbrook.

"The incident occurred just before 1.30am on Saturday, April 14.

"A car has been driven into the front of the store in an attempt to gain entry.

"The offenders did not gain entry to shop and therefore nothing was stolen."

It comes weeks after stores in Lordshill and North Baddesley were also rammed.
