IT’S been hailed as the story of the ‘birth of showbiz’ - and now you can learn the skills from hit film The Greatest Showman.
A new fitness craze will have you swinging from a trapeze, gliding gracefully down a pole and learning the tricks of ‘acro-balance’.
The open day at Stubbington Social and Snooker Club saw men, women and children of all ages test their strength with gymnastics and exercises designed to increase flexibility.
Teachers Kate Luckwell and Fenella Carcary have founded Luna Acrobatics and Aerial Arts to give people a chance to learn some impressive skills. There’s even a whole workshop dedicated to hand stands.
Kate said: “People often will remember doing them as a child but it’s quite fun to re-learn them as an adult. We have all ages up to 60-year-olds.
"It is an actual fitness thing. It’s become quite popular and a social thing as well. With the pole and trapeze we get people started on day one.”
