A TEENAGER was robbed by a gang of youths who stole his bike on a Hampshire footpath.

The 13-year-old boy was cycling home on the path between Calmore Road and Slater Close in Totton when four boys, three with bikes, stood in his way.

One of the group stopped the victim and pushed him off his bike before the victim ran away.

The incident happened on Saturday between 7.15pm and 7.30pm and the bike was found a short time later on the footpath opposite the Old Farmhouse Pub.

The youths were described as wearing dark, padded style jackets, tracksuit bottoms, and gloves.

A Hampshire Constabulary statement says: "Did you see four youths in the area at the time?

"You may have seen a group discarding a black/grey Carrera Crossfire mountain bike.
