GRITTERS are heading out on the county's roads this evening as freezing temperatures are expected.
The Met Office says it will drop to 0C in Southampton and Winchester overnight, with a 'feels like' temperature of -4C.

Hampshire County Council confirmed that its gritters were due to head out at 4pm today.

A Met Office weather forecast for the region on Monday says: "Frosty at first, then remaining cold with sunny intervals. "Scattered snow flurries are expected, mainly in eastern counties, with slight accumulations.
"Brisk winds continuing near coasts.
"Very frosty overnight. Maximum temperature 3C."
