TALENTED dancers from Hampshire schools will be representing their country at a top European theme park.
The group of youngsters from St James, Wildern and Wyvern schools have been chosen to dance at Disneyland Paris this summer in front of an audience of hundreds.
Working with dance teacher Jade Taylor the group had to choreograph two pieces, and show them to directors of the Performing Arts Programme at the French theme park.
Now they will spend three days there in August doing workshops and presenting their show to audiences either in front of the iconic castle or in the park's state of the art videopolis theatre.
Ms Taylor - who has taught dance through her JMP classes since 1999 - said the experience will be an "incredible achievement" for the youngsters, some of who are as young as six.
She said: "It's a really good thing for their confidence and self-esteem and a good way for youngsters to work as part of a team, to support each other and for their fitness as well."
After their stay in Paris the group will then go on to dance at Her Majesty's Theatre in the West End as part of the Class Talent show.
