THE following cases were heard by Southampton Magistrates Court.

MOHSEN ASGARY, 46, of Golden Grove, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to using a vehicle as a public hackney carriage when it was not licensed to do so and to driving without insurance. Fined £500, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £225. Also given 8 points on his driving licence.

RICHARD ALBERT (SENIOR) TODD, 51, of Landguard Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to trespassing and stealing power tools. Given an 18-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months. Also fined £100 and ordered to pay costs of £300.

DAVID FREDERICK KEITH BURN, 25, of Exbury Road, Blackfield, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £110, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85. Also disqualified from driving for 14 months.

CONNOR RYAN MILLS, 23, of Nightingale Avenue, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. Fined £117, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.

JAKUB KASPER KWASNIAK, 30, of St Denys Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £350, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35 and costs of £85.

JACK POUNDE, 18, of Hollybrook Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to carrying a bladed article in a public place, breaching a youth rehabilitation order. Ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £45. Also ordered to undertake 60 hours of unpaid work within the next twelve months and given a community order for rehabilitation.

PAUL PHILIP BEARE, 28, of Hazeldown Road, Rownhams, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Fined £45 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30. Also given three points on his driving licence.

SPENCER ROBERT WILLIAM WRIGHT, 45, of Sycamore Avenue, Chandlers Ford. Pleaded guilty to two counts of speeding and driving without wearing a seatbelt. Fined £350 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30. Also given 6 points on his driving licence.

DEAN JAMES ALLEN, 22, of Ringwood Drive, North Baddersley. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Fined £20 and ordered to pay costs of £310. Also given a 12-month restraining order.

SIAN RIA COOPER-PREECE, 32, of Heather Road, Fawley, New Forest. Pleaded guilty to two counts of driving under the influence of drugs and one count of driving without insurance. Fined £140, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £85. Also disqualified from driving for 22 months and given a community order for rehabilitation.

NATALIE JANE SNOW, 32, of Commercial Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing meat and coffee worth £183.27 from the Cooperative food and a hoover worth £99 from Bradbeers in Romsey. Given a sixteen-week prison sentence. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.

CARL WILLIAM LINDSAY, 33, of Holcroft Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing two beef joints, five jars of coffee, five packs of cheese, four packs of bacon, four bottles of detergent and other various meat products from the Cooperative food. Given a community for drug rehabilitation. Also ordered to pay compensation of £50.00.

GERARD STEPHEN PUTT, 56, of Athelstan Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to making 211 indecent photographs of children. Given a 26-week prison sentence suspended for 24 months. Also fined £115 and ordered to pay costs of £85. Also ordered to undertake 150 unpaid work within the next twelve months.
