TWO people had to be rescued after their van was submerged in flood water.
Firefighters from Fareham and Waterlooville were called after the vehicle got stuck in Pigeon House Lane, Purbrook.
A picture from the scene shows a man sat on top of the flooded van near what appears to be a bridge.
The van was a metre deep in water when the people inside raised the alarm at about 1.40pm on Monday.
