MIDFIELDER Jordan Ngalo has cut his ties with Blackfield & Langley and committed his future to Evo-Stik South Premier outfit Weymouth.

Ngalo had signed dual registration forms for the Terras after impressing for Blackfield in the Sydenhams Premier Division.

But the highly-rated 18-year-old, who was also wanted by Poole Town, has now signed a contract for Weymouth who play two leagues higher than the Watersiders.

“He is a young lad with a bright future ahead of him,” said Terras boss Mark Molesley.

“We are glad he has chosen to join this football club and we hope to develop him.

"Hopefully he will realize some of that potential he’s got.

“It is up to him now. He has done well to seal the move and get the contract and now it is how hard he is going to be willing to work to improve.

“He has chosen to join our football club, which I think says a lot.

“He is obviously one for the future, one who we are looking forward to working with.”

Ngalo, an England Schools FA under-18 international from Portsmouth, has featured 26 times for Blackfield & Langley this season, scoring four goals.

Blackfield remain nine points adrift of Andover Town at the Sydenhams summit after both clubs drew 2-2 on Saturday.

Having taken an early lead at home to Cowes Sports through Liam Robinson, the Watersiders were plunged into arrears by a John McKie penalty and Harry Dye.

The referee pointed to the spot again, allowing Franklyn Clarke to pull Blackfield level, and with four minutes to go the Watersiders lost Adam Costello to a second yellow card.

Blackfield had been due to visit Team Solent in the Southampton Senior Cup quarter-finals this evening (Monday), but the tie has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
