A MAN was left with facial injuries after being assaulted in broad daylight in Thornhill.
Two white men in their 20s were involved in the incident, which took place on Warburton Road, Thornhill near to 19th Itchen North Scout Group's hut between 1.15pm and 1.45pm on January 5.
One of the men attended Southampton General Hospital where he was treated for facial injuries and requires further treatment.
During the assault, a woman in a silver car stopped nearby and stayed in her car during the assault.
Hampshire Constabulary would like to speak to her as we believe she can help with our enquiries.
A number of other cars passed by during the fight and may have witnessed something to help police locate the suspect.
