Man assaults mother and young child
A MAN who hit a young child and its mother has been given a suspended sentence at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
Londoner Nathan Ruck admitted assaulting the mother and child from Holbury on December 12 at a hearing last week.
The 31 year old was committed to prison for four months, suspended for two years due to the offence being so serious.
Ruck, of London Road, Croydon, was also ordered to pay £35 costs and £115 victim surcharge.
