HUNDREDS of residents came together to sing Christmas Carols and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
The Hiltingbury Recreation Ground was packed with people of all ages on December 22 as the popular Christmas Carols at the Hilt returned.
Residents sang together and enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies.
The free event was organised by the Community Association.
Chairman Richard Lansdowne said: " It was great. It was packed and everyone was happy. We have a small team that organises events throughout the year but this is the one that makes everyone feel great because we bring the community together. It's great to put a smile on people's faces and everyone in the room was smiling that night."
During the evening, local children also preformed and entertained residents, while food was collected for Eastleigh Basics Bank.
"We want to spread the Christmas spirit throughout the community", Mr Lansdowne said.
He confirmed that the same event will be run next year.
