A MAN has been found guilty of murdering a student after they spent a day drinking and taking drugs together.
Andi Edwards, 37, denied murdering hairdresser Alex Woods, 22, at a home in Eastleigh.
Mr Woods was stabbed a number of times in the back and died after knocking on a neighbour's door while covered in blood.
Edwards, of Scott Road, Eastleigh, admitted stabbing Mr Woods but claimed that he acted in self defence.
He told police that Mr Woods had begun "sticking himself" and bit Edwards on the leg.
A jury at Winchester Crown Court found him guilty of murder and he will be sentenced at the same court on Thursday morning.
