A SOUTHAMPTON man has been jailed for six months after stealing tampons and hundreds of pounds worth of alcohol.
Thomas Edmond Bourne, 32, of Denzil Avenue, Southampton, pleaded guilty to eight charges of theft including bottles of champagne from shops such as TK Maxx and John Lewis.
On May 25, he also stole multiple boxes of tampons from a city Co-op.
He was put behind bars for a total of 24 weeks and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.
