KATIE Price has cancelled UK tour dates following her mum's heartbreaking terminal diagnosis.

But Saturday's one-off Southampton 02 Guildhall date in 'An Audience with Katie Price' has been postponed until December 1.

The reality TV star and former glamour model has said she wants to spend time supporting her mum following her recent terminal lung disease diagnosis.

News first came as The Loose Women star posted on The Theatre Royal Brighton’s Facebook page to apologise to fans and to explain that she had to reschedule. She wrote: "Unfortunately due to unforeseen family circumstances my date in Brighton on Wednesday 6th September 2017 has been rearranged to Sunday 26th November 2017.

"I would like to send my apologies for any inconvenience caused by this postponement, and really hope that you are able to join me at my new date. Thanks for all of your support!"

Representatives have confirmed that her Southampton date had been moved too, and fans who were planning to attend had been contacted. Katie first opened up about her mother’s condition last week on Twitter. She told fans: "Just to clarify for all of you reading My mum has been diagnosed with a lung disease called Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) there is unfortunately no known cure for this.

“As a shock to us all, Me and my family are proud to be supporting the British lung foundation to help support awareness and raising funds for research of IPF.

"With this we can help in other diagnosis and create awareness for people with IPF. The condition has an average life expectancy of 3-5 years. There are two known pills which if they work can slow things down."

An Audience with Katie Price promised to give fans a glimpse of the real Katie as she talked through her eventful life and also performed her new single I Got U.

Formerly married to Peter Andre and previously known as glamour model Jordan, Katie, 39, is a familiar face from popular programmes such as Loose Women and I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

She has also ventured into best-selling books, fashion, beauty and singing in recent years.

More recently, fans have been able to see her in her latest reality TV docu-soap Katie Price: My Crazy Life.
