Charlie Austin's 6th minute penalty to give Saints the lead is nothing but a distant memory after a painful second half for Claude Puel's side gifts Hull City a 2-1 win.
It all unravelled just past the hour mark when sub Robert Snodgrass, who made all the difference in this game, swept home an equaliser.
Things then went from bad to worse for Saints when Michael Dawson headed home to give Hull the lead just two minutes later.
Echo photographer Stuart Martin was at the match, so be sure to check out the pictures in the gallery above.
