THE THREE Queens of the sea have arrived in Southampton this morning.
Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2 docked at the city’s port today at 6am where they will stay until this afternoon.
The fleet owned by Cunard, which celebrated its 175th anniversary last year, all arrived in the city together.
For almost 100 years Cunard ships have called Southampton home, and during that time many spectacular events, royal visits and other special occasions have been shared by the company and the city.
Today they will have a short visit to the city before setting off at 4.30pm and commuters in the city are warned to expect heavy traffic around the docks as revellers are expected to go and see the trio.
All three Queens will be leaving at 4.30pm as QM2 departs for New York from 46, Queen Victoria to Lisbon from 106 and Queen Elizabeth to Hamburg from 38/9.
