MILES Maurice Passed away peacefully on 16th April 2024, aged 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Sally, loving Dad to Martin and Ian and a wonderful Grandad to Charlie, Jasper and Jonah. Former Headmaster of Nightingale School, Eastleigh and Braishfield School, Romsey. Much loved and greatly missed - he will live on forever in our hearts and cherished memories. Private Cremation. Service of Thanksgiving to be held at St Bartholomew's Church, Hyde on Thursday 9th May at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please. My sincere condolences to the family. He was my first form master in 1960 at Romsey Road annexe -- and we were his first class on his graduation from King Alfred's Teachers Training college. He remains the most influential teacher I ever had during my education. RIP Sir .. you were the best.
