Little Shop of Horrors, Andover Musical Theatre Company

The production team should be very proud of this quality show, overcoming the technical challenges with great aplomb.

As well as being a sympathetic and warm Audrey, Catherine Graham-Evans designed and led the set construction team. The plant, (masterfully voiced by Ryan Boath and operated by Claire Nias) was beautifully vile in look and movement proving a wonderful partner to Eddie Nias' assured and geeky Seymour. Both the leads sang well and the duets Suddenly Seymour and Mushnik and Son with an affable Martin Lambert in Mushnik, being highlights. Director Carol Robinson combined humour and pathos utilising her talented cast of Ronettes, chorus and David Scanlan as a suitably swaggering Orin with great skill and entertainment value.
