A TV and broadcasting legend will be providing plenty of laughs in Winchester this weekend.
BBC Radio 4 presenter Nicholas Parsons presents one-man show Just a Laugh a Minute at Theatre Royal on Saturday November 3.
Just a Laugh a Minute, Parson’s new show, is an evening of vibrant humour, recounting his exciting life in the spotlight. An anecdotal show, Parsons shares his experiences and fascinating aspects of life in the entertainment industry in a captivating stand-up performance that will delight all ages. Described as surprising, hilarious and brilliantly outrageous, it’s a must see for any comedy fan.
Nicholas Parsons has had many starring roles throughout his illustrious career including The Rocky Horror Show and Laugh Lines, and is well-known for hosting Radio 4’s long-running hit panel game show Just a Minute. Parsons has been hosting the programme for six decades, making him one of the country’s most popular radio personalities. Beyond his role in radio, the presenter, actor and comedian has also appeared on Have I Got News for You and Celebrity Mastermind and has received and OBE and CBE.
A skilled storyteller, Parsons will also be answering questions from the audience in a Q&A session at the end of the evening, giving people the opportunity to see and hear what the great man himself is all about. Don’t miss this one! It’s a real treat!
