LANDSCAPE Reflections – an evolving exhibition of works by the Artist and Landscape Architect, Paul J Best – will be running at the Theatre at Queen Elizabeth Country Park from tomorrow until May 28.

The exhibition will feature original paintings inspired by the Hampshire Landscape.

Paul studied Landscape Architecture at Cheltenham College of Art and Fine Art at the Southampton Institute and has as a Landscape Architect in Hampshire for the past 25 years.

In recent years Paul has rediscovered his passion for painting and his paintings are now held in collections across the United Kingdom, as well as in America, Switzerland and Australia and he is selling works on line and through a number of Hampshire based Art Galleries and shops.

Landscape Reflections features works created in acrylic paints with the distinctive incorporation of reflective paints used to capture and reflect light in the works.

The effect created changes at different times of day with the changing light conditions. The paintings are often heavily textured incorporating pastes, sand and gold leaf.
