INDIE stars The Sherlocks return to the south this week with tickets remaining for just one of their two headline shows.

Kiaran and Brandon Crook and Josh and Andy Davidson are making their debut at The Old Fire Station, Bournemouth on Tuesday before a sold out set at The Wedgewood Rooms on Wednesday.

“After touring so much, it’s crazy that we’ve never played our own gig in Bournemouth” Brandon told The Echo.

“We’re looking forward to seeing new faces as well as a few familiar ones coming over from Southampton where we’ve played so many times before. This tour is going to be mad.”

Including these shows, no other band has sold more tickets in the south in the last 12 months except at arena venues. Its one reason why their record Live For The Moment was the best-selling debut album by a band in 2017. Another is their huge popularity in the north where they’ll soon play to 3,500 fans at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse.

Latest single Chasing Shadows is on this week’s Radio One playlist. “We’re buzzing that it’s now getting the recognition it deserves” says Brandon.

The Sherlocks are no strangers to Bournemouth. They supported The Libertines at the BIC two years ago and AFC Bournemouth was the first Premier League club to play their music on match day.

Tickets for The Sherlocks, Neon Waltz and Oddity Road at The Old Fire Station, Bournemouth on Tuesday at thesherlocksmusic.co.uk. Neon Waltz also headline Heartbreakers, Southampton on Sunday February 25.
