SHEFFIELD’S rising stars SHEAFS are bringing their explosive show to Heartbreakers in Southampton on Sunday.
The band are no strangers to the south having played the first date of their first ever tour at The Joiners in March 2017 before hitting the Isle of Wight Festival later that year.
Since then frontman Lawrence Feenstra, guitarists Charles Mellor and Chris Goodacre, bassist Callum Wright and drummer Charlie Eastap have taken their high-energy set of songs around the UK and Europe.
They released their debut EP Nobody’s Watching in 2016, while their more recent singles Mind Pollution, This Is Not a Protest and Shock Machine are already favourite at gigs.
This summer, they drew big crowds to the new music stages at some of this country’s biggest festivals, including Tramlines in Sheffield, Truck in Oxford and Y Not in the Peak District.
Now, the five piece, who met at university in Sheffield in 2015 and named themselves after the city’s famous river, are playing 17 dates in three weeks. Venues in Derby and Nottingham have already sold out. Tickets for Southampton are £7 at seetickets.com.
