SOUTHAMPTON’S horror punk heroes Creeper are to close their biggest UK headline tour to date with a homecoming date at the Guildhall on Sunday.

The Kerrang! Award winners and Radio One favourites, whose debut album Eternity, in Your Arms was a top twenty smash last year, made their main stage debut at Download this year.

Featuring an ambitious new stage production which will elevate the band’s renowned theatrical presentation to a whole new level, the Theatre of Fear tour includes their biggest shows to date and a first headline slot at the city's 02 Guildhall.

Frontman Will Gould, lead guitarist Ian Miles, rhythm guitarist Oliver Burdett, bassist Sean Scott, keyboardist Hannah Greenwood and drummer Dan Bratton sold out the Joiners in seconds in October when they performed a benefit gig for the legendary venue where they have played so many times over the years.

A statement from the band said: "We invite you to the Creeper Theatre Of Fear tour, a one of a kind production being brought to six theatres across the country. Not only will they be our biggest ever headline shows, they will also be the most significant in the scale of ideas surrounding them.

"After a year travelling the world, we are excited to bring home our most ambitious project to date. Two years after James Scythe’s disappearance, this December we invite you to shake hands with the stranger of tomorrow.”

The sextet are fulfilling the potential which saw them earn Best British Newcomer at the Kerrang! Awards, Best New Band at the Metal Hammer Golden God Awards, and Best British Newcomer in Rock Sound Readers’ Poll.
